Arkistique showcases the paintings of Capt. Ratnakar Karve – a Master Mariner with over 40 years international sea/sailing experience. He is a self taught artist with no formal training in painting. His choice of subject is Marine and related Abstract art and his medium of preference is Oil on Canvas. He started to paint in 1990 and has never looked back – you can view the sequence and notice the progressive finesse he has acquired over the Years.
The Animation and Illustrations featured here are done by Mihika Karve – a BA in sociology from University of Pune with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Animation from MIT Institute of Design at Loni, Pune, India. Her subject of choice is 2D Animation (Traditional and digital). She is currently freelancing. Her projects include animation requirements in Apps and advertisements. Some of her work is showcased here.
Asha Karve is the Administrator/Manager/Representative. She is a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a Bachelor of Communication and Journalism , both from Pune University .
